About Dr. Martha Jay
My Work
- Dr. Martha M. Joseph, formerly Watts, is a professional development strategist who provides face-to-face, virtual, or hybrid interactive professional development services to public, private, parochial, and pre-schools. She provides job-embedded one-on-one coaching, and small and whole group sessions for administrators, educators, students, and parents on a school needs basis. She utilizes her ACE IT model to guide schools, organizations, and individuals on effective program implementation that leads success. She has utilised the model to support schools seeking to improve their academic and overall performance and to performance and to to secure funding. Her program implementation technique focuses on Buy-in as one of the major ingredients to drive goal setting or Alighnment, Collaborations, Evaluation, Implementation, and reporting results. Dr. Joseph continues to build on her success with larger schools and utilizes it to support schools with the constraints of limited resources in budgeting, scheduling, and staffing.

- Her degrees in Teacher Training and Educational Leadership along with her years in the classroom both as teacher and then as Literacy Coach make her a well-rounded educator with knowledge to impact educators in any setting. As educational consultant she responds to and wins Federal and State funded RFQs (Requests for quotes) bid allocated to public and non-public schools.
- As a content and curriculum developer, Dr. Joseph produces educational resources that encourage students to interact with grade-level reading and then make oral or written, evidence-based responses that build writing confidence and improve writing performance in students and schools. She is best known for the Writing to Respond (WTR) process, an approach she created to develop critical thinking from PreK-2 and for developing text-based writing from Grades 3-12. She published workbooks that serve as progress monitoring tools while utilizing the approach.
- Dr. Martha M Joseph also produces fction children's chapter books that teach character development. As a content developer, she commits to producing writing that meets her clients' needs.
- Her creative writing degree from Full Sail positions her to write more contemporary forms, such as podcasting and social media and positions her to do the same for others.
- She is a communication instructor with one of Florida's top STEM universities. She hosts a half-hour radio show, which she converts to her weekly podcast, L'Habitille: Habits that Count!

On Facebook, and Youtube I provide support to parents, educators, and anyone who wants to write or teach writing.
As educational consultant, I conduct professional development sessions utilizing self-produced and published resources based on research. I deliver virtual and face-to-face sessions, provide virtual and job-embedded coaching sessions, as well as, follow-up sessions based on evaluations and feedback. I also provide PD services to organizations based on needs assessment. Something About Me
I am a storyteller, but my most lucrative talent is writing. I write and publish children's fiction, and educational resources on the teaching of writing.
